Dr Sanjay Goyal, (MS Ophthalmology) the visionary behind Sankalp Multispeciality Hospital, belonging from a humble background completed his medical education and Post graduation in Ophthalmology from Gajra Raja Medical College, Gwalior, MP. He has served in various rural areas of MP and Chhattisgarh and even served as CMHO during his tenure.

He completed his Cataract and IOL training from PGIMER, chandigarh. He then completed his Phacoemulsification training from Shroffs Charity eye hospital Delhi and Mahatme Eye Hospital, Nagpur. He was the pioneer of Phacoemulsification surgery in Sarguja. He has experience of operating on more than 75,000 patients.

He has been awarded by Chhattisgarh government on multiple occasions and various other NGOs and social service institutions for his services in the area of cataract surgery especially for the poor and needy.

Thousands of villagers have been blessed with eyesight owing to his constant efforts. He believes in doing good for the community and believes in providing best quality of surgery and results irrespective of the financial affordability of the patients.

He then completed training in Advanced Phacoemulsification from Basawada Eye Institute, Ahmedabad and is now an expert in complicated and advanced Cataract surgery including Topical Phacoemulsification surgery with Toric, Multifocal and Trifocal IOLs.

He believes in constant effort for improving ourselves and the quality of care we provide at Sankalp Hospital, Ambikapur.
