Dr. Akshaya Goyal (M.S. Ophthalmology, Phaco Surgeon, FPO, FMR) is currently serving as Director (Operations) and a consultant in Department of Ophthalmology at Sankalp Hospital, Ambikapur. He has completed his medical education from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, Karnataka where he was an active member of the student council and has even held the position of Vice – President of the student body. He then completed his MS in Ophthalmology from MGM Medical College, Aurangabad, Maharashtra with highest marks in his department. Since the beginning of his MS journey, he had keen interest in community ophthalmology, especially for the needy children. He has worked extensively with children having Hearing disabilities and speech problems.
